position of Branch Manager at the Guyana Gold Board’s Bartica Branch Office.
OVERVIEW:
The successful candidate is required to ensure that the Branch Office is in a functional state
of efficiency to serve the Clients, and supervise the implementation of the Board’s policies
and programmes in relation to the purchase of gold. The incumbent ensures observance of
standards, processes, rules and procedures; coordinates the activities of the Technicians in
the use of the Laboratory’s resources and monitor the conduct of the Branch’s operations
for effective management.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must possess the following credentials:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Public Management or any of the social
sciences plus a minimum of five (5) years management experience in finance, management
or sales. OR
2. A Diploma in Social Science or related fields plus seven (7) years experience in
management, together with the competencies to perform the job functions.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
