GUYANA GOLD BOARD-BARTICA OFFICE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacant
position of General Clerk at its Bartica Office.
The successful candidate should be capable of satisfying the organisation’s specific
operational requirements as follows:
 Performs Cashier Duties
 Performs day to day accounting tasks such as:
 Preparing weekly and monthly receipt journals
 Assisting with the maintenance of accounting records
 Assisting with the preparation of reports containing financial inputs
 Reconciling statements from banks, suppliers and persons doing business with the
organisation
 Assisting with the operation of office machines and performing routine clerical duties

Applicants must possess:
 Five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level or CXC General up to Grade II, including English ‘A’, Mathematics
and Principles of Accounts.
 Two years experiences in the Accounting field.
 Computer literate in microsoft office suites
